the setting was marvellous and brilliant. we asked for feather pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows, everything was fulfilled. staff was friendly and lovely and provided us with central heating, television, and a writing table.

I really enjoyed my stay at the small hotel in Amboise. The owner, Mary, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The room was charming and the shower was surprisingly spacious. The location was great, with a cute restaurant nearby and a beautiful bridge just a short walk away. I loved being able to see the castle from my window.

The only downside was that the hotel is located next to a road, so there was some noise from passing cars and motorcycles. However, it wasn't a major issue and didn't disrupt my sleep.

It was great in the middle of the city.

The room was clean and comfortable. The villa is in a great location, just a short walk from the bustling center of Amboise. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a charming little bar near a camping site where we had a delicious breakfast. The surroundings of the villa also offer great hiking opportunities with beautiful scenic trails to explore. We would definitely recommend Villa Mary for families looking to discover the area while enjoying a comfortable stay.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if Villa Mary had provided some kid-friendly amenities or activities for families with children.

Everything was excellent, I truly enjoyed incredibly comfortable and beautiful rooms. It had a unique and brilliant setting not far from key castles of Loire valley, the island surrounded almost 10 minutes by the Loire river walk from the Amboise castle and the centre. Overall experience was relaxing.

We loved the favourable location. Host treated us very well. For safety measures it had smoke detectors.

The room at Villa Mary was absolutely exquisite, perfect for a special occasion or a romantic getaway. The views of the Loire and Amboise chateau were truly lovely, making the location fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. The unexpected bonus of having muesli, tea, coffee, and milk available for breakfast made our stay even better. Mary, the hostess, was pleasant and caring, even accommodating our late arrival due to car troubles.

The location of the hotel on the small island opposite the château offers breathtaking views of the Loire River. the room is spacious and comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom is equipped with a fantastic shower. the hostess is gracious and helpful, providing amenities and toiletries in the room. the hotel offers a shared kitchenette to use.

The parking at the hotel can be cramped, leading to a potential need for a longer walk from the car.

The location couldn't be better - close to everything, including restaurants and attractions. The room was super comfortable and the bathroom was mind-blowing. The facilities and toiletries provided were top-notch. Marie was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The shared kitchen, Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TV were added bonuses. No pets allowed and no smoking on site.

Located on an island in the middle of the Loire right opposite the chateau, Villa Mary Amboise offers a stunning location near the river. the rooms are immaculate, featuring large and comfortable beds. the bathrooms are stylish and well-equipped, with heated towel racks and nice showers. the service provided by the host, Marie, is exceptional, with her being friendly and helpful. guests have access to a shared kitchenette, which is convenient for keeping drinks cool.

The parking outside the property can be tight and the roads are very narrow.

My stay at Villa Mary was nothing short of wonderful. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town center, restaurants, and attractions. While parking was a bit of a challenge, it was to be expected in the area. However, I was able to find safe street parking nearby.
